Ajay Jain has been working with a vision of Clean, Green and Healthy Environment. His company Eco-Pro Environmental Services Indore has been providing consultancy to many National, International organizations and various Urban Local Bodies in field of environment and waste management.
Biomedical waste is very infectious and is a cause for spread many life threatening diseases like HIV, Hepatitis Tetanus etc. Mr. Jain has been working actively to destruct the Biomedical waste so as to ensure that such waste is handled without any adverse effect to human health and environment.
One of the causes for the increase in infectious diseases is improper biomedical waste management. Blood, body fluids and body secretions which are constituents of bio-medical waste harbour most of the viruses, bacteria and parasites that cause infection. This passes via a number of human contacts, all of whom are potential ´recipients‘ of the infection. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and hepatitis viruses spearhead an extensive list of infections and diseases have been documented to have spread through bio-medical waste. Tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea, tetanus, whooping cough etc., are other common diseases spread due to improper biomedical waste management
