Minecraft is an independent video game based on building blocks of sand. There is another game mode called Hardcore which is quite identical to the Survival mode. The only exception is that the difficulty level of the game is set on the hardest level even as respawning is disabled. The player is thus forced to delete his world upon his death.

An old version of Minecraft is also achievable. Unlike the new versions of the game, the old Classic game play mode is free. However, it is no more updated. This mode is basically similar to the creative mode, though some of the blocks may function differently. The player in minecraft games is provided with huge liberty to choose how to play the game. The chief aims of the player is to survive attacks by monsters, called "hostile mobs" in the game, and to continue building shelter and accommodation.
