Mumbai, July , 2009: Ghanshyam Binani Foundation, a non-profit, charitable organization of the Braj Binani Group today made an announcement inviting nominations for the 9th Ghanshyam Binani Children‘s Bravery Award 2008-09. The award is a tribute to brave young children below 16 years of age whose act reflects bravery with spirit of courage, humanity and presence of mind by protecting others while risking their own lives during the time frame of May 1st 2008 to April 30th, 2009. This award has been instituted in the memory of Shri Ghanashyam Binani who loved children.
The award has two categories, the male and the female category. The recipients of this award will be honoured with a thematically designed silver medal, citation and a substantial cash reward . An eminent panel of judges comprising of distinguished personalities in their respective fields will select the winners. The decision of the award committee will be final and the names of the recipients will be announced in a glittering ceremony scheduled in March 2010.
The act of the child nominated for the Ghanshyam Binani Children‘s Bravery Award should be backed by some authentic documents, appreciation or coverage of the incident in the media. Nominations for the award can be sent by individuals, social organizations, institutions, covering the details of the incident, date, time, location, name and contact address of the children involved with adequate supporting and mailed to the address given below:

The nominations for the award should reach the management of Binani Foundation by 30th October, ´09.
