Sarang Gohil is a 25-30-year-old good-looking man. He belongs to a rich family and lives in Panbaaâ€â„¢s neighboring village. Sarang is a strong believer of astrology and that is evident in his talks and the number of rings he wears on his fingers. He himself knows a bit of astrology, but it is only half knowledge. But he puts it to use to his advantage when a need arises. He wears different gemstone rings in all his fingers and often says showing his rings that he has blessings of all the planets including Panbaa. What else does one need? He maintains a great relationship with Pankor Sanghaniâ€â„¢s family and was to marry Sarita once but Sarita eloped with her lover leaving him behind to bear the insults from the villagers who went to the length of calling him impotent. Sarang comes back with the vengeance to Pankor house and now wants to ruin Saritaâ€â„¢s life and bring defamation to her for which he goes to the extent of raping her.
