Arangetram in Bharatanatyam, a classical form of dance, is to make the dancer complete in the field to give higher level of performances in the stage.

Nrityabharat is presenting Aarthi Subramanian, a class XI student from Chettinad Gharana of Tamil Nadu, who has attained this feat at the age of 16, to showcase her talent. The Arangetram performance is being scheduled for Sunday, 30th August, 09 at Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, New Delhi.

Aarthi Subramanian, who has taken studious training under the guidance of Guru Kanaka Sudhakar and Kalyani Bannerjee will be exhibiting the nuances of the Bharatnatyan through her performance. Shri Mahabal Mishra, MP from West Delhi and Justice K Ramamoorthy are the chief guests and Smt Jayaprabha Menon, Mohiniyattam exponent and choreographer and Dr Anil Jindal of SRS Group of Industries will be the Guest of Honour.
