The China Trade Commission has announced it has opened a new office in the Haidian District of Beijing near Tsinghua University to service the Beijing business community. The China Trade Commission originally opened in Hong Kong in 1996 during the Clinton administration, and has facilitated over $15 Billion of international joint ventures between foreign companies and those in China. The new office is staffed by 12 bilingual business development consultants from China, Canada, the U.K., Australia, the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, India, and Spain.

The new CTC Beijing office can be reached at 82615180 Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm. Media Relations Director Paul Zhang also announced that an office in Shanghai will also be opened by January.
