Saturday 23rd January 2010: P P Jhunjhunwala Foundation will be conferring XXI National Excellence Award on 31st January, 2010. Giving the details, Dr. Yatish Agarwal, Management Trustee of the foundation said that this year‘s award will be given to Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, President, Heart Care Foundation of India, and Editor, Emedinews and Mr. Ravi Singhania, eminent legal luminary.
Dr. Aggarwal, who is also a recipient of Dr. B.C. Roy National Award, will be given this excellence award for his devoted and profound service in health care of the people. Dr. Aggarwal is known for organizing Perfect Health Mela for the last 16 years. He is also a senior lifestyle cardiologist at Delhi‘s Moolchand Medcity, Member- Delhi Medical Council and Past President, Delhi Medical Association. He has also served as the Head of Research and Academic Wings of IMA.
Mr. Singhania is an expert in corporate law and is recipient of 2008 National Law Award. He is also a governing body member of Singhania University.
The award function will be presided over by Mr. Abhishek Manu Singhavi, eminent Parliamentarian. Well-know vocalist Smt. Suman Devgun will render Sufi Sangeet.
Artificial limbs will also be provided for patients of Safdarjung Hospital, St. Stephens‘ Hospital and Suya Sansthan.
