From the innovative mind of Giorgio Rizzi, AquaDike is a unique and resourceful way to control the uncontrollable. Flooding is a common problem all over the planet and AquaDike is the solution. Ideal for flood containment, plugging leaks, creating flood dams for riverbank improvements, protecting entranceways, circumscribing areas that are subject to flooding, keeping river bed work sites dry, and creating branches to the normal flow of waterways are a few of the amazing accomplishments of the AquaDike.
AquaDike is designed to act as a temporary barrier that is easily moved and handled. However, if a more permanent solution is needed, the AquaDike can also be filled with gravel, sand, or any other suitable material.
When used as a barrier without an undersheath, the AquaDike can assist in limiting overflow water in rural areas and deviating water when necessary. The AquaDike can also be used with a sheath to protect areas that are paved, such as public roads, along lakeshores and homes, and at entranceways.
With no welded joints or internal stretchers, the lightweight and manageable design allows for rough handling, impacts, or falling without losing integrity. Able to withstand temperatures from -40 degrees C to 60 degrees C, the AquaDike’s non-toxic recyclable material is made to last long with reuse.
Installation is simple and quick with AquaDike’s interconnected elements and requires no on-site infrastructure such as sand for sandbags. A pump to inflate the system modules is all that is needed for use. AquaDike’s flexible design allows for additional modules to be added as needed, whether on the ends to add length or on top to add height.
The AquaDike allows for a quick and simple installation and removal process that frees up valuable time during a crisis. Labor, installation, and transportation all become easier with the AquaDike.
