Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has released its portable 10/100/1000m Ethernet analyzer, an ideal solution for analyzing and troubleshooting Ethernet networks during the processes of construction or maintenance. It supports multi-network testing, bit error testing of ISO layer1-3 and comprehensive network monitoring. The analyzer is able to test data rates and performance metrics including throughput, latency, frame loss and back-to-back frames. This advanced analyzer generates constant, burst or ramped traffic loads and simulates multi-stations up to 500.
The 10/100/1000M Ethernet analyzer, model A0300004, has two working modes: dual-port mode and remote testing. In dual-port mode, most of tests can be completed with the single analyzer; in remote testing mode, long distance tests can be carried out with two Ethernet analyzers placed at the two ends of a WAN. This handheld analyzer includes an electrical interface and an optical interface operating in either single or multi-mode. It also has a USB port to conveniently upload stored data and through which embedded firmware can be upgraded. The easy-to-use Ethernet analyzer displays text and graphics in up to 16 bits color on its TFT LCD screen. Overall, prominent functions, portable size and user-friendly design make the analyzer fit for various complex testing environments.
