EGMP is a one year course that is open to managers at the middle levels, with work experience of at least six years in medium and large organizations in the public, private or government sectors. EPHRM is a six months programme for Human Resource professionals with more than three years of experience. EPHRM is uniquely designed to focus on new trends and challenges facing HR professionals today. It aims to provide cutting edge knowledge in the frontiers of Human Resource Development and Management and training in the techniques and nuances in human resource management expected of a successful professional in the corporate sector, banks, and financial institutions or in any entrepreneurial venture.
The average work experience of the 2009 batch participants was over 8 years. All these participants would also be extended the MDP IIML alumni status.
“Executive General Management Program has been designed to create business leaders who can effectively and efficiently lead their teams to create value in the current business environment. It has been observed that the early career success comes by developing specialized skills in a particular functional area, however after a few years, this specialization itself becomes a bottleneck for the progress not only at the individual level but also at the organizational level. Keeping in mind the requirements of the industry, the modules are designed to create managerial and leadership competence among professionals.†Says Dr. Ajay Singh, chairman MDP, IIM Lucknow, Noida.
One of the former participants of EPHRM, Mr. Harikrishna Gaura, HR Manager, Zeon Solutions, Nagpur IT Park, commented “The EPHRM program was designed in such a way that the students not only learned the theoretical aspects, but also were also able to learn more on the practical end. Especially, sessions like Training and Development conducted by Dr. Punam Sahgal were very useful for understanding the Psychometric tests and why it‘s used in an organization, how training can add value and thereby increase the ROI to the organization.â€
The EGMP & EPHRM batches are commencing from July and August, 2010, respectively and admissions are in progress. For more information please visit www.iimlnc.ac.in or www.niitimperia.com
