OKINAWA, JAPAN OCTOBER 1 - The 39th Annual Creativity Awards, today named John R. Burgreen III as the Platinum award winner in the feature Photography category. The entry, titled MCCS Camp Fuji Martial Arts Festival, showcased images of samurai warriors. Along with the Platinum award, Mr. Burgreen also shared a Gold award for his work on U21 Magazine and a Silver award for Best magazine Cover Design on Okinawa Living Magazine.

Mr. Burgreen is the Art Director for Okinawa Living Magazine, a leading English publication circulated in Japan. He and his wife currently reside in Okinawa, Japan.

This year, judges from some of the United States' most prestigious design firms evaluated the work produced by their peers and students.

The 39th Annual Creativity Awards received thousands of entries from 37 countries and 37 U.S. states. The competition showcases work from around the globe in the Annual Book published after the close of each year‘s competition and sold in bookstores around the world.
