Manoj Tiwari Takes Life OK‘s ´U.P Fights Back‘ Campaign to Kanpur

~Life OK‘s, Savdhaan India-India Fights Back to kick start weekend series with UP Fights Back~

Kanpur: Savdhaan India - India Fights Back, a docu-drama on Life OK, is taking the movement against crime and injustice to the grassroots with state specific weekend series starting 27th October.

Veteran singer, actor Manoj Tiwari visited Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India‘s most populous state, to kick-start this new weekend series -- ´U.P. Fights Back cases‘ -- that highlights gruesome crimes against women and the victims‘ battle for justice.

In today's world, women walk shoulder-to-shoulder with men and contribute equally to the social, political and economic development of the country. However, incidents of repeated violence against the fairer sex are a cruel reminder of a regressive society. As per reports, a number of crimes against women are committed by influential people, making their flight for justice even harder.

Life OK is guided by the philosophy of ´cherish your values and beliefs‘ and aims to instill confidence in viewers to stand up for their rights. Savdhaan India inspires the oppressed through stories of real life battles and is a natural extension of Life OK‘s guiding philosophy.

On this occasion, Manoj Tiwari, who will host ´U.P. Fights Back cases‘, said, “It is depressing to see that women continue to be victims of brutal criminal acts even after 65 years of independence. What‘s even worse is that, in a large number of cases, perpetrators of such crimes are never punished. Savdhaan India plays a crucial role in inspiring victims to stand up for their rights and fight for justice. I am delighted to do my bit for the society by being a part of this noble initiative.”

Savdhaan India illustrates cases where people have valiantly fought back against atrocities such as female foeticide, untouchability and child labour. The movement alerts viewers and inspires them to counter injustice with firm determination.

It airs on Life OK, Monday Friday at 10.30 PM and will be extended to weekends as well, from 27th October onwards at 10PM.
