Using social media like facebook can supplement the way you do business, and can add to how you recruit to you network marketing company. Facebook and other social media sites are not a replacement for your warm market or for any of the other
methods you use. You still have to put in the time to build the relationship. It can take a couple of weeks or so, and there is a best way and wrong way to use social media.
How can you find that perfect partner, make a lasting relationship and entreat somebody you do not know and build a rapport with them?
Well read on and I will clarify a little more.
Using social media is an additional method to using your warm market to build your company. Social media is not the quickest method to build your business, your warm maket will be your fastest method because you already have the rapport and trust with those people, you are already half way there. Social media will supplement your business by adding additional partners to your business.
Network marketing is a slow process, you do not get to make millions overnight.
Finding folks who are keen in starting a network marketing business will be hanging out in groups with those who are into MLM. You can investigate under leaders like Robert Kiyosaki, Local real estate. Donald Trump. These leaders will have like inclined people in their fan base. This is true for many a business.
You will want to look at folks's status and comments, you are finding like minded people who you would want to be a business partner. You are not looking to mass message several thousand people at once and hope you find a lucky strike. You are looking for people who make comments that are enthusiastic, positive, concise and to the point., non argumentative comments, folks who are busy, busy people often have good skills suited to MLM. Expert folks are often an ideal prospect. You are looking for people who may be open to an opportunity.
Making a connection - its all about character and not mass emailing. In your message ask more about that person, ask them what they do and build the relationship the same way you would with someone who becomes part of your warm market, afterall this is precisely how you talk to people you want to become friends with, this time you are using social media to build the connection rather than sitting on the bleachers at the local little league game building a connecion. Remember when you are asking questions, try to scribble down their answeres in your data base. Six months later, you can ask how their remodel, or vacation or whatever it is went. Develop this good habit because it will pay you back many times over.
One of the things I love is an extract from Bob Burgs book "Endless Referals" "How will I know when I am talking to someone, that they are a good client for you?" You are telling that person that you are listening to them, that you are curious in them and that you are interested in helping them. Never send a link to your website, unless you are invited to do so.
All about me my Profile and I.
If your profile is full of games it is a turn off for folks. You are cluttering your page with odds and ends and looking inexperienced and boring. Why would I be attentive in someone who plays games all day?
Post exciting things about your business but never "join my business at www.iamdesperate.com" that is a definite NoNo.
Attract people to you.
When you sign someone up using social medial make a post on your page welcoming that person to your team and your business. Use a structure like, Welcome Claire, a Realtor from San Diego, California, to the Vollara team. You are showing the world that you are actively engaged on your business, you are recruiting professionals and you are mentioning the area, This can add to your marketability and attracts similar professionals in the areas to ask for more facts. It is simply all about making a connection.
What is actually appealing about your business life. Do you get a fantastic auto ship. pictures are worth a thousand words. Take graphics. One of the most memorable visuals I have seen was when a business partners Great Dane got into her autoship and ate it. No animals were harmed in the taking of the picture but if you know the product which was called Re Vive and you know dogs, just imagine a dog on energy drinks. You are now forming a mind picture. You are creating news.
If you attend conferences take visuals of you with your CEO's and post those. Folks love graphics.
Are you ready to mention your business now?
If you have build a good relationship in you messages you probably know by now if your prospect is satisfied with what they are doing and if they are open to opportunities. Are they battling with something. Have they intimated they are open to a new opportunity. Have they asked you what you do. When you have the invitation and the opening go right ahead and ask them if you would be open to taking a look at what you do, ask for permission to send them some info. Again never send someone a link or pitch your business unless asked to do so after you have built the relationship.
Would you want to sign up under yourself? Are you an expert on you business. Are you an expert on recruiting? If you have positioned yourself correctly and have done your due diligence you become that expert. People will come to you for encouragement and this is when you are able to give the recommendation, this is what I do to make myself successful in my business and this is why I chose my business.
Phone Call Follow Up?
Are you ready for this? If you have built the relationship and are positioned as the expert you can ask for their phone number. Offer yours first, call me on 123-456-7890 if you have any questions, message me with your number so I know who is calling me. You have done two things here. You have gained trust and got the number given to you voluntarily. Again you will not get to this stage after a couple of messages.
Using social media is a long process. Doing it right can give you leads which do not cost you money. It will give you long term business partners who will be in it for the long haul and can make you a sound residual income. It is not a replacement for your warm market or retailing or any other methods you use, but it can supplement those methods. With social media being so available on smart devices you can fit short messages to your prospects in during a few moments out of your daily routine.
