SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS solutions, today announced that it obtains the Taiwanese patent on the Internet Map Cache Technology. The name of the patent is “Geographic Information Systemâ€; No. 316671.
This technology can save the viewed section of geographic images to the saving extension. When the client side views the geographic information image of the same section, the geographic information system will transmit the image saved in the extension to the client side directly, in stead of redrawing the image. Therefore, the time that the client side waits for the geographic image can be shortened significantly.
Having made great efforts to develop products for a long time, SuperGeo has also applied for patents on several products and development techniques in recent years. The patent granted to SuperGeo not only approves SuperGeo‘s developing ability but also shows its determination to provide users with better products.
“We are very proud of the patent.†says Leon Lin, the Director of R&D Team at SuperGeo. “In the future, SuperGeo will continuously promote SuperGIS software with high quality and more user-friendly manipulation to the whole world.â€
