Polaris wins third position at Raid De Himalaya

 

Polaris India has bagged third position in the highest Rally Raid in the world, the 14th edition of

 RAID DE HIMALAYA, and first in the Moto Quad category

 

A name that marks the presence of robustness and ruggedness in the Indian power sports market, Polaris India has set another milestone by bagging the third position at Raid De Himalaya, and first in the Moto Quad category.Rolling ahead on the path of adventure and sports, Polaris India- the pioneer in off road industry in India, has emerged successful in the most grueling event on the Indian motorsports category, the highest Rally Raid in the world.

This thrilling event commenced on5th Oct at Shimla, covered the following route: Shimla Manali Spiti Lahaul - Rohtang Kaada Pang Tang-Nangla - Kaumik Kabo Ladakh Zanskar Leh/Srinagar. The event was open to Indian and Foreign Motorcycles, Quads and 4 Wheelers.

Raj Singh Rathore, who drove RZR® S 800 brought home pride, after winning the Moto Quad category and bagging an overall third position. He has already been a two time winner in Raid De Himalaya. Also, representing Polaris was Jess David, who rode Sportsman® 550 and stood at 6th position OVERALL & 2nd position in Moto Quad category. Earlier, he had won the Desert Storm 2010 bike category and other races too.

14th version of Raid De Himalaya witnessed a participation of 33 vehicles in Extreme Moto Squad category including 3 foreign brands, 50 entries in Extreme 4 Wheeler and 60 Entries in Adventure 4 Wheeler. The robust and rugged Polaris vehicles maintained their poise and position throughout the 5 day long competition while passing through some of the most challenging conditions on the earth.
