This data communication tester, model A0300002, integrates interfaces of V.24, V.35, V.11, X.21, G.703 Co-dir 64kbit/s and G.703-2Mkbit/s and can emulate a DTE or a DCE; data can be transmitted synchronously or asynchronously on each interface. The tester generates and monitors PCM30, PCM30 CRC and PCM31 and PCM31 CRC frame structures on G.703-2Mbit/s interface. In general, it provides an error analysis function featuring a display of histograms of errors or alarms; test results are saved to an onboard memory, and accommodations for future interfaces have been reserved.
