Excel CET by BASE for the early bird advantage

Many talented medical and engineering college aspirants lag behind in the CET owing to last minute preparations and lack of planning says BASE, the premier educational training organization providing quality training for IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT, CET and COMEDK in Karnataka.

“Several talented youngsters wake up only a few weeks before the CET and look up to crash courses for miracles. The right time to start preparation is now in the beginning of the year. And then as the real test comes near, it is time for giving finishing touches, not concept building”, said Mr. Vallish N. Herur, Director, BASE speaking on the launch of ´Excel CET‘ programme by BASE.

“Start now for better CET performance. The early bird catches the worm. In this case, the student who begins preparations for CET early on performs better in the CET and thus has a greater chance of securing admission in engineering or medical colleges of choice” he said.

“CET is a test that measures the preparation of a student in the core subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology on the following parameters: Knowledge, Understanding, Application and Skill. Only students who are good at all these skills can achieve mastery over the core subjects and secure a high rank. This is what Excel CET @ BASE trains you for - provided you join now” he added.

Excel CET is a training programme for 2nd PU/class 12 students. BASE‘s Excel CET offers well-planned training to students pursuing both engineering and medical lines.

The course offers students printed courseware for CET, mandatory and additional practice exercises for each topic, regular classroom sessions that focus on dual objectives of strengthening concepts and improving performance in exams.

About BASE

BASE started functioning in the year 1991 from its present premises in Basavanagudi in Bangalore. It was started by Dr. H.S.Nagaraja with the intention of increasing the number of students from Karnataka gaining entrance into IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and NITs (National Institute of Technology). From a modest strength of 4 faculty members and 3 students, BASE has now grown to include 150 teaching faculty and multiple programmes for students from class 5 to II PU/Class12 in multiple centres spread over Karnataka.
BASE trains students to get through the preliminary examinations of world renowned centres of learning such as the IITs of India. BASE has consistently performed since its inception both in terms of growth and an astounding share in the number of BASE students gaining entrance into the IITs and NITs.

It is a proud fact that each year, the number of BASE students qualifying to the IITs is more than that of all other institutions in Karnataka put together.
