(12PressRelease.com) Toronto, Canada GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has released its upgraded TI DSP evaluation board offering code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motors and AC motors SPWM and SVOWM. It uses an independent power supply for A/D sampling that effectively reduces electro-magnetic interference (EMI) to the computing unit. This evaluation board is an ideal tool for prototyping, study and experimentation in applications including scientific search and product development.
This TI DSP evaluation board, model DEC6713, is based on Texas Instruments‘ TMS320C6713B DSP and operates at a frequency of 200MHz at a maximum speed of 2400MIPS. It can be easily and directly integrated into a user‘s system. The evaluation board includes on-board VL-Bus, data/address/control lead-out wires, special function pins with lead-out wires and 8 status indicating LEDs. It has both external shielded and unshielded interrupt inputs and also supports removable storage devices. In addition, the advanced TI DSP evaluation board provides an MP3 hardware decoding chip, a 10M Ethernet interface, a USB host interface and 3.5mm audio jacks for MIC, line-in and phone.
